Content and use of schemes of conformity of escalators, moving walks and platforms for persons with disabilities with the requirements of Technical Regulation schemes
The Certification of escalators, moving walks and platforms for persons with disabilities is mandatory in the territory of the Customs Union and governed by the requirements of the Technical Regulation TR TS 010/2011.
There are two schemes of Certificate for machines and equipment issuance:

Scheme 1c for mass produced machines and (or) equipment includes following steps:
The Certification body takes samples for tests.
Accredited testing laboratory (center) which is included in the Unified register of Certification bodies and testing laboratories (centers) of the Customs Union (further on - Accredited testing laboratory) tests samples of machines and (or) equipment.
The Certification body examines the state of production flow. It issues the Certificate of conformity in case of positive tests results. It also produces scheduled supervisory control conducted by testing samples in the accredited testing laboratory and (or) analysis production flow.
Scheme 3c for consignment of machines and (or) equipment includes following steps:
The Certification body or accredited testing laboratory takes samples for tests.
Accredited testing laboratory tests samples of machines and (or) equipment.
The Certification issues the Certificate of conformity in case of positive tests results.
To get a Certificate for escalator, moving walk and platform for persons with disabilities the applicant must request any Certification body which is accredited relevantly.
